Bethany Foundation

What we do

Bethany’s Foundation division comprised of shared resources and equipment for all of our operations.

Donations to Bethany are generally recorded in the Foundation and then directed to the appropriate division as designated. Donations that are not specifically designated are accumulated and used to assist the any of our operations as needed.

While each of our operations is operated separately each division relies on the others for our overall success.

Bethany has been blessed with many community and business donors. Thanks for your support.

Fundraising project - Can you open the dooR?

“Can you open the door for me?” is a question asked frequently at the main entrance to Birch Manor, an assisted living facility, at Bethany Pioneer Village. Residents using canes, walkers or wheelchairs often need assistance as they struggle to move through the hand-held double set of doors at the entranceway.

There are two renovation projects that Bethany is about to implement that will enhance the quality of life for our 100 residents and members of our surrounding communities.

Restructure and up-grade the entranceway to Birch Manor

The 57-year old crumbling, often repaired concrete platform, ramps and handrails will be removed and new concrete will be poured for a larger platform area and ramp. New exterior handrails will be installed. Two new sets of automatic doors will be installed and the vestibule area will be enlarged to better accommodate wheelchairs and walkers.

Doctor office up-grade and restructuring

Bethany health care services currently include weekly doctor visits, lab work and prescription delivery. By up-grading and enlarging the doctor’s office, the ability to add additional health services such as foot care and dental will be accommodated. These health care services are available to Bethany residents as well as members of our surrounding communities.

The price tag for these two renovation projects is $170,000. There are no government funds available to help with these projects. As a charitable non-profit organization we rely on grant writing and contributions from businesses and individuals. These two building projects are important to the safety and well-being of our residents and community members.
